Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy describes how Cuisiniq handles information when you visit our website, shop online, use the Cuisiniq iOS or Android app, or connect a Cuisiniq device. Specific features depend on the version of the app and services available to you.
1. Information we handle
When you use the Cuisiniq website, we receive information needed to run the site and respond to requests, such as your browser and device information, IP address, and the details you choose to send us.
If you use the online store, we process your cart contents, name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, order details, and customer support messages. A cart cookie keeps your cart available between visits. Payment information is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout; we receive the information needed to confirm and manage an order, rather than your full payment card number.
In the iOS and Android apps, information you enter may include a nickname, email address, label text, templates, reminders, and print history. These items may be stored on your device. The apps may use Bluetooth to find and communicate with a compatible Cuisiniq device. Depending on the app version and permissions you grant, the app may receive device status and technical information needed for printing and firmware updates. An internet request for an update may also expose your IP address and basic request information to the update service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide the website, store, apps, printing and device connection features; fulfill orders; provide support; deliver firmware information; protect our services; and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use information for a purpose unrelated to these activities without updating this notice and obtaining consent where required.
4. Your choices and requests
You can edit or remove locally stored app information using available app controls, or remove the app from your device. You can change Bluetooth and notification permissions in your phone settings; disabling a permission may limit related features. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to applicable law and necessary order or legal records. If an account feature is introduced, its deletion instructions will be provided in the app and on the website. See the contact section below for privacy requests.
5. Retention and security
Information stored only on your device remains there until you remove it or the app, subject to your device backups. We retain store, support, and technical records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve issues, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate interests, then delete or de-identify them as appropriate. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
6. Children
Cuisiniq products and services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products and data practices change. The date at the top will show the latest revision. If a change materially affects your rights or our handling of information, we will provide additional notice where required.
